Chinnoiserie makeover

It all started with a Craigslist find. 

Yes, one of those faux bamboo pieces of furniture from an era gone by.

It was a little short for modern standards and needed a facelift

 I drilled a hole in the bottom of each leg and added a
$2 stool leg to each.

Painted it . . . First silver (below), then white, and now . . .

Black with Gold accents!
